Associate Attorney - Enjoy a Great Work-Life Balance!
Plano, TX Direct-Hire $40.00 - $60.00/hr Hybrid

Job Description

Associate Attorney (Temp-to-Hire or Direct Hire) | Defense Litigation | Hybrid Schedule | Work-Life Balance

Are you a litigation attorney looking for a long-term home with a firm that genuinely values work-life balance? Whether you're currently between opportunities or simply looking for a healthier, more supportive environment, this could be the perfect next step.

Our client, a highly respected defense-side firm, is seeking an Associate Attorney to join their team. The position is being offered on a temp-to-hire basis, but the firm is also open to hiring experienced attorneys directly into a permanent role at a higher salary if they are the right long-term fit.

The firm is focused on finding the right person rather than a specific practice area background. While debt collection experience is a plus, they are most interested in attorneys who bring strong litigation fundamentals, professionalism, stability, and a collaborative personality.

Why This Opportunity Stands Out

  • Temp-to-hire opportunity with long-term growth potential
  • Direct hire option available for experienced candidates
  • Hybrid schedule with only 2 days onsite
  • Excellent work-life balance and supportive culture
  • Opportunity to gain valuable defense-side litigation experience
  • Collaborative team environment with mentorship and hands-on experience
  • Firm is seeking a long-term addition to the team, not just a short-term hire

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Active bar license in good standing
  • Ideally 2+ years of civil litigation experience
  • Strong writing, communication, and advocacy skills
  • Professional, reliable, and team-oriented
  • Interested in building a long-term career with a stable firm

Ideal Candidate

This role is perfect for an attorney who:

  • Has at least a few years of litigation experience
  • May be between positions and looking to continue developing their litigation skills
  • Wants to join a firm that truly prioritizes work-life balance
  • Values a positive team culture and long-term stability
  • Is looking for a place where personality, work ethic, and fit matter just as much as experience

If you're seeking a firm where attorneys can do quality work without sacrificing their personal lives, we'd love to connect and tell you more about this opportunity.
